Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce has not ruled out the prospect of strengthening his squad in the January transfer window despite his team's recent improvement.
Saturday's impressive 3-1 victory against Fulham lifted City up to 12th in the Premiership table and Pearce is pleased with his side's current form.
"They're normally seasons to remember for Manchester City one way or another, that's for sure, but we know we've got to improve," he told the Manchester Evening News.
"Maybe we'll have a look in the window as well, and keep our fingers crossed that, in positions where we're not the strongest, one or two players of ours maintain their fitness.
"There are a lot of factors that will dictate how your season goes. But I feel there's a good spirit in the camp - there always has been - and a good work ethic as well.
"Whenever we put anything on that doesn't involve a football, they roll up their sleeves and say: 'Come on, let's get on with it, because we enjoy this as much as we do knocking that ball around.'
"When you've got that in your camp, it's nice. There are a lot of unselfish players in this squad - the Dickovs, the Dunnes, the Thatchers - they're all team people.
"The more people we keep fit, the more pressure we put on each other to perform and improve at what we're trying to achieve, the better it is for us."
