David Moyes has revealed he will look to strengthen his Everton squad in January - but admits it may be difficult to sign the right player.
Moyes' already small pool of players has been further decimated by injuries in recent weeks, leaving the Toffees boss to contemplate new faces when the transfer window reopens.
He told the club's official website: "I think we're short. We were short before we started and, strangely enough, we don't have that many injuries.
"We're not a club with nine or 10 injured players, so we're actually just short of numbers in general.
"It'll be difficult to get players in to improve the side, and January's not the best time for shopping, but we might still need to do something."
